Who We Are

Three Stone Farms is a family owned and operated business. Danny Stone and his son's David and Donny started the business with the goal of providing quality larger size shade and ornamental trees. Not to compete with container trees found at a chain stores, but larger trees that are approximately 2 to 3 inches in diameter. We want to be able to provide high quality trees at wholesale prices that are very competitive. The Stone family does most of the work which allows us to keep our overhead down and we would like to pass that along to the customer. What will make us succeed is that we have a passion for what we are doing. Not only do we get to see something grow and feel accomplishment as a team, but the family also gets to spend time together!

Each year we continue to add varieties and shear number of trees to our tree nursery. We have the long term commitment and vision to be able to provide a customer with trees year after year once we develop that relationship.

August 24, 2010 Update
We have added 4 new trees for this fall (Swamp White Oak, Red Cedar, White Birch, and Black Walnut). We have limited quantities of 2" black walnut so don't wait to order. We do have over stock and will be reducing our pricing on pin oak, pears (Cleveland, New Bradford & Aristrocrat), green ash, and white ash.

Over the last couple of years we have found that once a nursery owner contacts us for a quotation that we get their business. Our low pricing doesn't mean that quality is sacrificed. Our pricing gets the first order and the quality keeps them coming back! Hope to hear from you this fall!

September 1, 2009 Update
Please look at all the new varieties. We have more than doubled the number of tree varieties that we have available. The white birch didn't make this website revision, but we will have those available in the fall of 2009 as well. Many pictures have been added to the gallery to give you an idea of the quality of the trees and the size of our operation as we have over 10,000 trees in the ground! Thanks for visiting our website.
